LEGENDARY! Diamondbacks’ Pitcher Carries American Flag Onto the Field on the Fourth of July and Incites a Patriotic Frenzy in the Crowd; ‘I’m Proud to be an American’

Arizona Diamondbacks pitcher Madison Bumgarner made viral rounds on the internet on the Fourth of July when he showed up in epic patriotic style against the Giants.

Taking the field with an American flag over his shoulder, his entry was celebrated by the crowd. Diamondbacks then went on to take home a great 8-3 win over the Giants.

“Repping the red, white, and blue.” The Diamondbacks’ Twitter account wrote along with a video of Bumgarner’s patriotic entry.

The online audience as well as in-person attendees celebrated this gesture and shared overwhelmingly positive messages online. It is unfortunately rare to see such patriotism in sports these days.

Ever since Colin Kaepernick started the woke movement in sports, there has been an abundance of narcissistic and America-hating athletes making woke gestures that are only celebrated by the American mainstream media.

Such patriotism on display was overwhelmingly celebrated by Americans and it did not please many mainstream media publications which further explains why people don’t trust the media these days.

Facing his former team, and carrying the red, white, and blue with pride on his shoulders, Bumgarner struck out four in five innings while picking up a widely celebrated Fourth of July victory.

“I’ve been feeling pretty good lately, velocity has been kind of climbing,” Bumgarner said via MLB.com. “So I don’t know if it was just that or if it was a little mixture of everything, but it did feel like it was coming out really good leaving in the bullpen before I came in,” he added.

This marks his fourth win in the season. “I was excited to pitch on the Fourth of July,” Bumgarner continued. “It’s a special day for me. I’m proud to be an American,” he concluded.
