MASSIVE WIN: New poll shows Republican Lee Zeldin could win the New York Governor race against Democrat Kathy Hochul!

An internal poll from the office of New York Rep. Lee Zeldin (R) shows the challenger to the current governor, Democrat Kathy Hochul, has a slight lead at the moment.

According to the poll, Zeldin holds a tight lead over Hochul, at 45.5% to 44%. The congressman attributes the lead to “hard work, the right message, strategy and execution, and also taking absolutely nothing for granted.”

The poll is the first to show Zeldin ahead of Hochul, as previous polls have shown the incumbent with a significant lead. Zeldin’s internal poll was conducted by Republican pollster McLaughlin & Associates.

“As we continue to get our message out coming off of this month’s Republican and Conservative Party conventions and after airing television and radio ads statewide since the beginning of February, it’s never been more clear that we have the issues on our side, we have the momentum of our side, and there’s a big red wave headed straight for New York in 2022,” Zeldin said.

Zeldin is not unopposed for the GOP governor’s ticket, however. He must beat out several competitors in the upcoming primary elections.
