The Department Of Homeland’s infamous Disinformation Governance Board is being “temporarily paused” amid concerns of violation of Americans’ First Amendment rights and multiple complaints from both sides about its executive director, Nina Jankowicz.
The board, also labeled by some as “Biden’s Ministry Of Truth” was announced by the DHS less than a month ago and was a subject of criticism from leaders and experts on both sides.
The board’s nominee, Nina Jankowicz was the center focus of this criticism as she had a track record of repeating Biden and DNC talking points on several occasions. From repeating the Trump-Russia collusion hoax to downplaying New York Post’s Hunter Biden laptop story, and calling the COVID-19 Wuhan lab story “disinformation” Jankowicz has repeated and promoted several false claims on records on several occasions which made critics concerned about her bias.

Back on the "laptop from hell," apparently- Biden notes 50 former natsec officials and 5 former CIA heads that believe the laptop is a Russian influence op.

The statement would be helpful if it ended before the "whether" clause and just stated the IC will investigate how the outbreak began. As it stands it gives credence to all the internet conspiracy theorists claiming COVID is a bioweapon :-/

On other controversial topics, Jankowicz had recently suggested that Verified Twitter Users should be able to “edit other people’s tweets” and “add context to certain tweets” if they consider the content of those tweets “misleading” we all know how these fact-checkers and “Verified” people on Twitter are leaning one side and are famous for repeating the Biden regime’s talking points.

“Nina Jankowicz has been subjected to unjustified and vile personal attacks and physical threats,” a DHS spokesperson told the Washington Post on Wednesday. “In congressional hearings and in media interviews, the Secretary has repeatedly defended her as eminently qualified and underscored the importance of the Department’s disinformation work, and he will continue to do so.”
Recently, the former White House Press Secretary claimed that this disinformation governance board was “a continuation of work that was done under the prior [Trump] administration,”
When Psaki was questioned about Jankowicz’s bias, she remarked: “The woman you noted has extensive experience and has done extensive work addressing disinformation,” Psaki claimed. “She has testified before Congress, testified in Europe. She has worked closely with the Ukrainians and has unique expertise, especially at this moment we’re facing.” She added.
