Tuesday night’s primary elections revealed great news for President Trump and the MAGA movement in the Republican Party. All 12 Trump-endorsed candidates won GOP Primaries in Colorado, Illinois, Oklahoma, and Utah.
Republican Congresswoman Lauren Boebert secured her re-nomination in Colorado’s third congressional district by easily defeating her challenger, State Senator, Don Coram. Boebert won 64.2% of the Republican electorate. She was endorsed by President Trump back in December.
“Congresswoman Lauren Boebert has done a fantastic job in her first term representing Colorado’s Third District. She is a fearless leader, a defender of the America First Agenda, and a fighter against the Loser RINOs and Radical Democrats,” President Trump said in a statement.
In Illinois, all four Trump-endorsed candidates managed to secure massive wins in their districts. Starting with Republican State Senator Darren Bailey who secured the GOP nomination for the state’s gubernatorial elections. Then, Republican Congressman Rep. Mike Bost secured his re-nomination in the twelfth congressional district, and Republican congresswoman Rep. Mary Miller took home her re-nomination for the 15th congressional district by defeating fellow congressman, Rep. Rodney Davis. Davis has been the Representative for the state’s 13th congressional district since 2013, but in the 2020 United States Census, redistricting merged his district with the 15th district.
Another district remerging the state’s 18th congressional district was merged with the 16th district and Rep. Darin LaHood won a big GOP primary victory in the 16th district.
In Oklahoma, the state’s incumbent Republican Governor, Kevin Stitt who was endorsed by President Trump won the GOP nomination by a whopping 70% votes. In the state’s first congressional district, Trump endorsed Representatives Kevin Hern secured his re-nomination bid along with Rep. Frank Lucas from the third congressional district, and Rep. Tom Cole from the fourth district.
The winning pattern continued in Utah where incumbent Republican Senator Mike Lee secured his GOP nomination by defeating the former CIA officer, and long-time anti-Trump Independent Evan McMullin. Another win in the Utah primary was Trump-endorsed Republican Rep. Chris Stewart who secured his nomination in the second congressional district and Rep. Burgess Owens who took home the GOP nomination in the fourth district.
A similar pattern was observed last week when Trump endorsed candidates secured big-time victories in Virginia and Alabama. And in the previous week, candidates in South Carolina, Nevada, and North Dakota managed to secure victories after endorsements from the former President. Before that, 17 Trump-endorsed Republicans from California, Iowa, Mississippi, Montana, New Jersey, and South Dakota perfectly secured their GOP nomination after Trump endorsements.
What do you make of this pattern of all Trump endorsements winning their GOP nominations? Do you believe that the Republican Party is now officially the Trump Party? Share your thoughts in our Facebook comments!
