After Signing Executive Orders to Halt the Border Wall on his First Day of Office Biden DHS Finally Approves Building President Trump’s Border Wall in California Amid Intense Mid-Term Pressure

Amid immense pressure ahead of the November mid-terms, the Biden administration is finally moving to complete the construction of President Trump’s border wall that separates San Diego, California from Tijuana, Mexico.

According to NBC San Diego, the remaining wall will be built at “the westernmost edge of the US-Mexico border where families can see and talk to each other through the fence, despite standing on land in two separate nations.”

Biden’s Homeland Security Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas finally approved the construction of the border wall, that was originally proposed by President Trump. The new border wall will replace the existing wall that has two small 30-foot doorless walls.

“Joe Biden should not be putting the finishing touches on Donald Trump’s border wall at Friendship Park,” said John Fanestil, convener of the Friends of Friendship Park Coalition in San Diego.

Whenever Biden’s approval ratings see a significant drop, the border wall construction starts picking up. Nothing to see here, I guess. The last time this happened was in May 2021 when the Biden DHS approved a small 13.4-mile stretch of the Trump proposed border wall in Rio Grande Valley after tremendous pressure from the community.

On his first day in office, Joe Biden signed multiple executive orders. One of which was halting the construction of President Trump’s border wall which effectively invited illegal immigrants from all over the world causing a historic crisis that is still ongoing to this day.

The $2 billion in funds that were approved for the border wall after a long bipartisan battle in congress, was immediately redistributed for the green new deal agenda and Biden’s build back better plan.

The massive pile of border wall construction material was also put aside, unused and the illegal immigration crisis hit a historic 21-year high in May 2021, just months after Biden took office.

After just over a year, the illegal immigration crisis is in far worse shape than it was last year. With multiple deaths and horrifically disturbing incidents taking place under Biden’s watch.
